The Marquis Theater, CO 11/07/09 – J-Live w/ Fresh Breath Committee.
J-Live aka Justice Live aka Justice Allah, was in town to grace his divine rap style over a committed hip-hop crowd last weekend. GRO project was there to document this event, and let me tell you, the joint was slammin’! For all the true heads of the culture it was a chance to re-live the greatest of the great, with classic jams, “MCee” and the rarely seen live cut “Them That’s Not” bangin from J-live’s mic. For those who may be new to J-live, pristinely crafted jams “The Upgrade” produced by and featuring Oddisee as well as “Practice” off the amazing “The Return of the Magnificent” album produced by Jeffrey Townes, set the stage for an amazing night of music.
